About Event
Craftivism, a blend of "craft" and "activism," is a form of social or political protest that uses handmade items, such as knitting, embroidery, quilting or other crafts, to encourage dialogue, raise awareness, and foster change.
We will be using upcycled materials like think cardboard boxes to create postcards and mail them to our government representatives.
This is a free event. We will encourage donations to local organizations at the time of event. Ages 18+
We will have materials but feel free to bring your own (thin) cardboard if you have any!. Think cereal boxes, soda or sparkling water can boxes, etc. See image for examples. RSVP required.
