𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟓 - 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰?
What could the Bega look like ten years from now? Who will use its riverbanks, how much space will nature have in the city, and how will navigation, culture, public life and climate change coexist along the water? On 17th of October, starting 15:00 at Vila Mal, Serbian youth worker 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐜́ invites young people aged 15 to 25 to imagine the Bega of 2035. The workshop starts from the river we know today. Using maps, photographs and real situations from along the Bega, we will look at how climate change, water systems and urban development are already connected. Then, working together in small teams, participants will build their own possible futures for the river.
A Bega 2035 scenario can become a drawing, a simple model, a short story or an idea sketched on paper. What matters is the conversation behind it. What should the riverbanks become? Who should have access to them? How much room should we leave for nature? What role could culture, navigation and local communities play? At the end we will put these visions next to each other and discuss what seems possible, what may sound utopian and which ideas might actually deserve to be carried further.
This is not a workshop for specialists and no previous knowledge of urbanism, ecology or architecture is required. Curiosity is enough, together with the willingness to imagine the city from the level of the water. The workshop lasts approximately two hours and will be held in English. Participation is free, with registration required.

Cum ar putea arăta Bega peste zece ani? Cine va folosi malurile, cât loc va mai avea natura în oraș și cum vor putea conviețui navigația, cultura, viața publică și schimbările climatice? Pe 17 octombrie, de la ora 15:00, la Vila MAL, Ivana Branković din Serbia îi invită pe tinerii între 15 și 25 de ani să își imagineze Bega anului 2035. Pornim de la râul pe care îl cunoaștem astăzi. Cu hărți, fotografii și situații concrete de pe Bega, discutăm despre legătura dintre apă, schimbările climatice și dezvoltarea orașului. Apoi lucrăm împreună, în echipe mici, și construim câteva variante posibile pentru viitorul râului.
Un scenariu pentru Bega 2035 poate deveni un desen, un mic model, o poveste sau pur și simplu o idee pusă pe hârtie. Mai importantă este întrebarea din spatele lui. Cum vrem să arate malurile? Cine vrem să le folosească? Cât spațiu lăsăm naturii? Ce loc pot avea cultura, navigația și comunitățile? La final punem toate aceste imagini una lângă alta și discutăm ce pare posibil, ce pare utopic și, mai ales, ce idei ar merita duse mai departe.
Nu este un atelier pentru specialiști și nu sunt necesare cunoștințe anterioare de urbanism, ecologie sau arhitectură. Contează curiozitatea și dorința de a privi orașul de la nivelul apei. Atelierul durează aproximativ două ore și se desfășoară în limba engleză. Participarea este gratuită, pe bază de înscriere.
