Ronghua Workshop Iris in Bloom
🌸 Ronghua Workshop — Iris in Bloom
Looking for a peaceful, beginner-friendly weekend workshop in NYC? Join us for an afternoon of traditional craft, flowers, and tea in Manhattan.
Ronghua (绒花) is a traditional Chinese craft made from fine silk threads, shaped into delicate, lifelike flowers. Once worn as hair ornaments in imperial China, ronghua carries a quiet sense of elegance, symbolism, and seasonal beauty.
This session is inspired by the iris—a flower known for its graceful form and quiet strength. Together, we’ll recreate its soft, sculptural petals by hand, translating its refined movement and subtle beauty into ronghua.
Our studio is intimate and quiet, making it a lovely space to come with a friend or to meet new people in a relaxed setting.
