Vortex Collective presents Realm of Sound.
Embark on an immersive exploration of ambient soundscapes, half-time hypnosis and broken dnb rhythms. Fully realizing the capabilities of Reforesters’ 24-channel spacial audio, Realm of Sound envelopes listeners in sound system psychedelia by stacking layers of natural textures with ritualistic percussive elements and richly detailed sub-bass. With an emphasis on atmosphere and musical storytelling, narrative arcs flow from one performer to the next; energy and intensity rise and fall as amorphous sounds cohere and become part of an inseparable whole.
This is a space for individual expression. Movement, meditation and stillness are all welcomed.

Her mixes explore themes of nature, mysticism, and the interplay between light and dark.

Noid is a Brooklyn based DJ and Vortex collective co-founder whose identity as a curator is defined by a long-running fascination with plumbing the depths of electronic music. Seeking to merge his findings with a refined dancefloor sensibility, his sound layers sleek, cutting-edge grooves with ethereal atmospheres and textures, moving fluidly between techno, trance, and low-end psychedelia to build immersive sets that thrive in atmosphere and intrigue.

Cow Tools is a DJ based in NYC, shaped by the underground forest parties she helped organize while living in the UK. She gravitates toward hypnotic and minimal techno, foraying into other genres—ambient, experimental electronic music, bass, industrial, and more—for a sound that's entrancing and varied, dreamlike and groovy, ethereal and sharp. Also a writer, she finds particular delight in crafting expertly paced sets with a strong sense of narrative arc.
