Data: The New Cash Crop

​Food companies need farm data—for Scope 3 reporting, decarbonization, and resilient supply—and too often assume farmers will simply hand it over. But data is a crop: cultivated with real time, attention, and resources. What if farmers owned their data, licensed it downstream with full sovereignty, and got paid for the harvest?
