The ‘Bucks Link Up’ is an initiative held once every month in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Our aim is to educate, support and guide the community on various aspects of managing finances.

The City of London Police reports that from 2023 to 2024, on average a person would lose £10,774 to romance fraud, and with the amount of cases happening, this amounted to more than £94.7 million lost.

‘Love or Lies?’ aims to change that number by educating the public about what is a romance scam, what you can do to prevent them from hurting you or your loved ones, and what assistance is available if you have been affected by one.
