The Hidden Voices of Climate Justice
Network, listen, learn and build relationships with Everyday Climate Champions, Bad@ss Women in Climate, and other local folks concerned about our climate!
Join Everyday Climate Champions and Trellis for an exciting afternoon of amplifying the essential voices often overlooked in the climate movement. This event offers a dynamic space to interact with "grassroots experts" about local efforts, inspiration, and community-driven action.
Engage in a compelling discussion featuring local climate justice advocates and past podcast guests. Experience live musical performances by Eco Soul Entertainment and Sean's Music Factory, and get to know other climate-concerned folks in the Bay Area.
Panelists include:
Amythest Faria (Lakota, Irish, Welsh), Farm Manager, The Cultural Conservancy
Aditi Anand, Climate Advocate and Environmental Engineering Student
Mireya Gomez-Contreras, Executive Director, Esperanza Community Farms
Anu Ramamurty, Founder, Kat Kid Adventure
Jennifer Silverstein, Climate and Childhood Mental Health Consultant
We will also hear from Matt Scott, Director of Storytelling and Engagement at Project Drawdown; and more!
And...add your voice to the conversation during an interactive listening and feedback session that will directly influence the future of the Bay Area's own Everyday Climate Champions podcast. (You may even snag a spot on an upcoming episode!)
This gathering is designed for anyone eager to move from concern to meaningful action: whether you are a long-time listener or simply curious about how you can contribute.
Bring the family along for the child-friendly activity and music space.
We'll round out our time together with a Happy Hour (with N/A options)!
We look forward to building and learning with you!
NOTE: Got a climate-curious friend or two? Bring them along!
