⚒️RBL - Introducing Ecological Institutions: Law, Economics and Technology in a More-Than-Human World
Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring Ecological Institutions: Law, Economics, and Technology in a More-Than-Human World.
One of the central themes of this project is simple: we often overemphasize financial allocation and underemphasize community capacity—the ability to steward investment, data, and compute in ways that strengthen rather than subvert mission and purpose. Without internal coherence, even well-intentioned funding can become destabilizing.
To dig into this, we’ll focus on the Institutional Development Kit (IDK)—a card-based workshop and facilitation methodology for building local capacity to collectively steward capital and compute.
During the session we’ll:
Break down how the IDK supports coherence in grassroots and bioregional institutions
Explore how rituals and protocols combine to form durable stewardship practices
Introduce updated creation mythologies and a few delightful mascots
Ground everything in concrete field examples and applications
We’re committed to a high level of discourse and practical relevance—and this session will be no exception. So if you’re interested in regenerative or bioregional economics, or in building the institutions that can actually hold transformation, you won’t want to miss it.
Thank you !
