AltaSea - Capital Strategies for Climate and Ocean-minded Innovation

​​Established in 2014, AltaSea is a blue economy hub dedicated to advancing the sustainable and equitable development of ocean industries. Entrepreneurs and start-ups join the AltaSea ecosystem through renting space at the campus in the Port of Los Angeles, participating in industry coalitions and advocacy, and through partner incubator and accelerator connections. 

​​As a hub in the blue innovation ecosystem, AltaSea launched its quarterly Networking and Learning (N&L) Event Series to help connect start-ups and entrepreneurs with one another, as well as the resources they need as they scale.

​For the Series' first installment of 2026, we're delighted to host an international panel including field-leading experts from close partners including 7th Generation Advisors, Enduring Planet, Vide de Grunwald and Beneficial State Bank. Representing expertise across venture development, sustainability-focused advisory, climate-aligned lending, and mission-driven banking, the panel will explore how environmentally focused ventures, particularly those operating in and around the blue economy, navigate today’s capital landscape.
