About Event

Established in 2014, AltaSea is a blue economy hub dedicated to advancing the sustainable and equitable development of ocean industries. Entrepreneurs and start-ups join the AltaSea ecosystem through renting space at the campus in the Port of Los Angeles, participating in industry coalitions and advocacy, and through partner incubator and accelerator connections.

As a hub in the blue innovation ecosystem, AltaSea launched its quarterly Networking and Learning (N&L) Event Series to help connect start-ups and entrepreneurs with one another, as well as the resources they need as they scale.

For the Series' first installment of 2026, we're delighted to host an international panel including field-leading experts from close partners including 7th Generation Advisors, Enduring Planet, Vide de Grunwald and Beneficial State Bank. Representing expertise across venture development, sustainability-focused advisory, climate-aligned lending, and mission-driven banking, the panel will explore how environmentally focused ventures, particularly those operating in and around the blue economy, navigate today’s capital landscape.
