Bead Weaving | Surface Studio Makers' Meetup
Makers’ Club is back, and this month we’re getting into bead weaving!
Our October craft was chosen by the community, and we’re meeting at the lovely Café Montiran for an evening of making, chatting, and experimenting with beads.
This is a community-led meetup rather than a formal workshop, so there’s no need to have any previous bead weaving experience. Just bring along your own beads, loom and whatever materials you’d like to work with. We won’t be providing materials at the meetup, but we’ll be sharing ideas and helping each other along the way.
What to expect
An evening of bead weaving and creative conversation
A drink included with your ticket
Name cards to make it easier to connect
A few little surprises
A cozy evening at Café Montrian
A small group of 12 makers
Optional Loom Bead Kits
If you need a loom and bead kit, we’ll have a few options available to purchase. Please reach out to us through our social media before the meetup to arrange one.
About Makers’ Club
Think of Makers’ Club as a book club, but for crafts. Each month, the community chooses a craft to explore together. We share inspiration, experiments, techniques, WIPs and finished pieces in the chat, then meet in person to make and spend time together.
It’s for craft nerds, curious makers, beginners, and anyone who enjoys discovering something new.
