3rd EAG London Info + Application Session
EAG London Conference is probably the EA event of the year (not my event, I just think it's that good).
It runs May 29-31 and brings together ~1,500 people who are serious about doing good effectively. I love it because you can see everyone who's going and book short 1-1 meetings with them. I usually have 20-30 conversations over a couple of days.
What people actually get out of it:
Career advice you won't find online
Introductions that lead somewhere
Clarity on what to do next
Some of us got job offers last time
Goulven, described EAG as "giving him an excellent sense of my next career steps" after speaking to someone in the EU Civil Service. Lorien says "I'm still in touch with people I met at EAG as contacts, friends or a potential colleague!"
30 of us went to Amsterdam recently. We're aiming for 50 at London.
This session:
15 mins: What EAG London is, what makes a good application, common mistakes
45 mins: 1-1 draft reviews
You can bring a draft application if you have one, but it's not essential. You can start writing during the session.
