About Event

As sustainability reporting transitions from voluntary best practice to binding regulatory obligation — under IFRS S1/S2, TCFD, GRI and an expanding set of national frameworks — organisations across every sector face the same fundamental challenge: building the internal capability to accurately measure, record and report their greenhouse gas emissions and ESG performance in a way that is credible, auditable and decision-useful.

This one-hour masterclass, delivered by Endurisk Advisory during London Climate Action Week 2025, cuts through the complexity to give participants a practical grounding in carbon accounting methodology, ESG reporting frameworks and the AI-enabled tools that are transforming how organisations collect and manage sustainability data.

The session covers 3 core areas:

Understanding your emissions footprint. A practical introduction to the GHG Protocol, Scope 1, 2 and 3 classifications, organisational boundaries and the critical distinction between operational emissions and financed or value chain emissions. Why Scope 3 is where most of the risk — and most of the difficulty — sits.

From data to disclosure — navigating the reporting landscape. How the major frameworks — GRI, TCFD, IFRS S1 and S2, PCAF — relate to each other, where they overlap, and how organisations should sequence their reporting journey. What "assurance-ready" data looks like and why it matters to investors and regulators.

Setting credible targets. An introduction to Science Based Targets (SBTi), net zero alignment and the difference between a credible reduction roadmap and a headline commitment without underlying methodology. What investors and rating agencies are actually looking for.
