Life Itself Research: Weekly Meeting
This is the regular weekly call of Life Itself Research - a research collective exploring paths to a Second Renaissance and awakening societies.
This week's topic
Programmable Humans Updating Their Own Source Code
Hypnotic techniques are woven throughout society, shaping human behavior with or without intentional design. From Radical Behaviorism’s influence on product design to the cadence and conditioning of political propaganda to the sensory intensity of religious rites, we have developed intricate systems for embedding behavior so deeply that it becomes nearly unchangeable at the conscious, cognitive level.
Now, as our species matures and we begin to see that much of this programming no longer serves us, how are we to respond? In this research meeting, we explore hypnosis as a means of communicating with the subconscious in order to rewrite the code in ways that do serve us. ⅓ theory, ⅓ trance, ⅓ open discussion.
Format
The Session format is up to the presenter/facilitator. This week's format is: Presentation+practice+discussion
