South Coast Places for People - November Meet Up

​Not all superheroes wear capes - some wield rakes. A new group in Fairhaven calling themselves the Green Lanterns launched this year, contributing their gardening know-how to some public spaces in need of sprucing up. Places they've perked up include the Phoenix Bike Trail, the Civil War Park, Macomber & Pimentel Park, and Veterans Memorial Park. The changes aren't major - trimming plant beds, adding colorful perennials - but a little love goes a long way to highlighting Fairhaven's beauty.

​At our November meetup, we'll be joined by the Green Lanterns' Colleen Brewer and Bob Hannan to hear how they got started, their lessons learned, and their advice for folks in other communities who may want to follow in their footsteps. 

As usual there will be good food, awesome people and plenty of time to enjoy both! BYOB
