Where are all the young people at climate events? Does the younger generation care less about our planet?
With support from the City of Kitchener through the Bloomberg Youth Climate Action Fund, our student-led team engaged over 100 youth (aged 15-28) to explore how to spark greater youth engagement in local sustainability and climate initiatives.
Join us for a dinner, debrief, and discussion covering youth climate attitudes in the KW Region, what types of climate events youth are interested in, and tips for creating youth-friendly spaces. Let's bridge the gap between local climate groups and the next generation of changemakers.
