AgriPreneurs Meet 10 : Building value for the Farmer - the Funding Playbook
Somewhere out there is a farmer losing part of every harvest to a problem someone in this room could fix. The idea is the easy part. Carrying it far enough that the farmer actually earns more takes money handled well, a deck that tells the truth, and a few more hands.
That is what Meet 10 is about.
Born on 6 Dec 2025, AgriPreneurs is a grassroots community of 250+ Builders in Vizag that turns real farmer problems into farmer-first startups solving real agricultural leaks. We meet every 3rd Saturday in Visakhapatnam. We run one big meet a month, plus farm visits and build sprints in between. Our short-term goal is clear: five farmer-first startups demo-ready for AgriPreneurs Day at the Visakha Organic Mela, 12 December 2026. This meet is 12 weeks out from that day.
September is about money, the honest way. Money is a tool, not a trophy. You reach for it only when it buys speed you cannot get otherwise. Bootstrapped does not mean broke. It means we do not sell the farmer short for a cheque.
In this session:
🎙 Meet the money. The four ways to fund a startup, from bootstrapping to grants, angels and VCs.
⚖️ Know the real price. What each kind of money asks of you, and when it is smarter to say no.
💡 Build your first pitch deck. The problem, your solution, the buyer, the numbers, the ask.
📈 Set the September bar. A deck you would happily show an outsider, no apologies needed.
🚀 Idea Authors take the floor. How far you have come since the August filter round, scored on the framework.
Who should come:
Farmers (Weekend & Full-time), Enterpreneurs, AgriTech Enthusiasts, Founders, Investors,Builders.
No idea yet? Bring your skills, whether tech, business or farming, and join an Innovation Tribe. There is a founder out there missing exactly the one person you are.
Have an idea? Bring it to the Seed Bank and we build it together.
Curious? Just come and see how a farmer-first startup gets built, from the ground up.
Registration is Rs. 100, paid at the venue, this small voluntary fee keeps the community self sustained and covers snacks and logistics. Please arrive by 9:30, the session begins promptly.
Working with nature, not against it. From Vizag to the world.
