Investing in Social Impact Storytelling

​Nigeria's social impact storytelling ecosystem faces a financing gap. Creators developing stories that advance gender equality need access to funding, production support, commissioning opportunities, and distribution channels. However, the funding available for social impact work does not always match the capital requirements of mainstream entertainment production and commercial distribution.

​HER Story Circle 3 is bringing together creators, ecosystem enablers and donors/funders (the people and institutions that can finance, commission, distribute, and support their work in conversation, to explore how audio-visual storytelling can be financed and sustained, while creating stronger connections between Nigeria's social impact storytelling ecosystem and the wider creative industry.
