About Event
After the untimely death of her only sister in 2019, Laing Rikkers wrote a series of vulnerable and evocative poems about grieving, connection, strength, and joy. Through a beautiful and serendipitous sequence of events, she paired her poems with a collection of Kelly Leahy Radding's stunning botanical paintings, to create Morning Leaves: Cultivating a Life of Beauty, Meaning, and Joy.
Join us in our Tribeca studio where George Rings founder, Chelsea Lauren, and Rikkers will chat about the journey from corporate work to creativity, rebirth after loss in midlife, and the pursuit of joy.
Refreshments: Blended teas and slices of orange cardamom olive oil cake will be provided by the wonderful Dacia Thompson of By Thompson.
