For seven years, Building in Kenya has served as a platform for knowledge sharing, professional growth, and meaningful industry engagement. As Building in Kenya marks its 7th anniversary and Design Source celebrates 20 years of shaping the built environment, this milestone presents an opportunity to invest in the industry's future leaders.

​The built environment is evolving rapidly. Young professionals are navigating changing industry expectations, emerging technologies, increasing competition for opportunities, and widening gaps between academic training and professional practice. While conversations about the future of the industry are common, opportunities for honest dialogue, practical exposure, mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving remain limited.

​The Youth Masterclass & Technical Studio is designed to bridge this gap.

​Rather than a traditional conference, the session will combine insights from industry leaders, collaborative workshops, peer learning, and practical studio exercises informed by a pre-event survey of students and young professionals.
