The Hero's Journey: Cast Out & Into the Forest
There are moments in life when the ground beneath you gives way.
A role ends.
A relationship shifts.
A path that once felt certain… no longer holds.
What follows is not clarity—but crossing.
You find yourself moving into unfamiliar territory—without a clear map, without the structures that once guided you.
This gathering draws from the second threshold of the Hero’s Journey: the moment of being cast out and called forward.
Not as failure.
But as passage.
What to expect
The Emerald Tent is a guided, in-person experience designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and meaningful human connection.
The evening unfolds as a sequence of immersive practices:
A threshold forest immersion to gently cross out of the thinking mind and into the imaginal field
The telling of a mythic story that opens the terrain of exile, uncertainty, and becoming
Small group witnessing (triads) for reflection—no fixing, advice, or analysis
Gentle somatic practices to settle and reconnect with the body
Collective humming to support coherence and integration
An afterglow with tea and light nourishment to ground, connect, and restore
Why this matters
Modern life offers few spaces to navigate transition.
We are often expected to move quickly—toward answers, solutions, and the next step.
But some passages cannot be rushed.
They ask for something different:
presence, patience, and the willingness to stand in the unknown.
This is a space to do just that.
To step out of performance.
To be met in the in-between.
And to begin sensing what is quietly emerging.
A Distinctive Experience
This is a distinct and intentionally crafted experience—designed for those who feel a pull toward something deeper, and who are curious to explore that space in the presence of others.
