Powering Georgia: State of the State

​Join E2 (Economy + Environment) and the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) for Powering Georgia: State of the State, a timely panel discussion on Georgia’s energy landscape as part of Atlanta Climate Week.

​Like much of the country, Georgia is in the middle of an unprecedented transformation to its energy sector, with clean energy proliferating and energy demand soaring. The shape this transformation takes will have enormous economic implications, affecting the businesses we build, the jobs we create, and the vitality of our communities. This panel brings together leaders from state and city government and the private sector to discuss what it will take to ensure Georgia’s energy future is good for the environment, good for the economy, and good for our communities.

​Featured speakers include Chandra Farley, Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Sustainability & Resilience; Miguel Granier, Founder of Poderus Capital, an Atlanta-based venture firm backing cleantech and industrial innovation in the Southeast; Dana Clare Redden, Board Member at Black Owners of Solar Services (B.O.S.S.) and others to be announced shortly.

​The panel will be moderated by Richenda Van Leeuwen, Executive Director of CELI.
