Local Hub Barcelona: Curiosity as a Career Tool — Why it matters and how to build it
Hola Shakers 💃
Welcome to the second event of our Future Work Skills series.
The World Economic Forum has identified 'Curiosity and Lifelong Learning' as a core skill for employees by 2030. It’s a valuable skill, but there's also a tension: most of us work in systems that reward expertise, consistency, and proven capability. So, when someone is visibly curious, is that recognised as valuable? Or do we accidentally signal that curiosity is risky?
✨What to expect✨
An interactive session that positions curiosity and lifelong learning not as "nice-to-have" soft skills, but as strategic career tools that unlock mobility, resilience, and "what's next".
We'll explore why these skills matter (with some data that might surprise even L&D professionals), where they show up in our own careers, and where they're being blocked or undervalued.
Expect great conversations, provocative questions, and practical takeaways.
