Traditional Weaving with Cassie Fisher-Patterson

​Cassie Fisher-Patterson is a Djadjawurung artist, dancer, weaver and educator passionate about walking soflty on Country. Cassie is a master weaver with the Victorian Aboriginal Weaving Collective. Her work has been acquired by the National Gallery of Victoria, Koorie Heritage Trust, and the Magistrate’s Court of Victoria.

​Cassie's weaving is built upon ancestral knowledge, and bolstered by her deep connection and ongoing relationship with Country. In this workshop you will learn how to weave using native grasses to make unique artefacts of your own.
