About Event

This Women's History Month, JDOAAI and the Culture Care Collective invite you to an evening of candid conversation, community, and connection. Join two powerhouse NU alumni founders, Dr. Cynthia Orofo and Adebukola Ajao, both Women Who Empower Innovator Award recipients, for a real and inspiring dialogue on entrepreneurship, wellness, and what it truly means to thrive as a student and beyond.

Dr. Cynthia Orofo is a Nurse Scientist, Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, and Co-Founder and CEO of Culture Care Collective, an AI-powered platform bridging care gaps for underserved communities.

Adebukola is a marketing consultant, professor, and small business advocate helping people through the power of strategic marketing. She founded her marketing agency, B.D.Y. CONSULT, on a simple belief: if you're in business, marketing is your business! But Adebukola's impact goes beyond her agency. Beyond her consulting work, Adebukola is the founder of For All Things Digital, a resource platform that provides open-source education, funding opportunities, workshops, and business services.

Together, they will share their founder journeys, offer STE(A)M gems from their careers, and lead a candid conversation on student health and wellness. Following the program, join us for networking, tabling, and on-the-spot resources to support your wellness journey. The NU chapter of the National Society of Black Women in Medicine will also be honored at this event.

Come ready to be inspired, get resourced, and connect. Space is limited. We hope to see you there on March 20, 2026.

*Light refreshments will be served!
