The Event

Join us for a special fundraiser night featuring DJ sets, art exhibitions, catered food, drinks, and a Mario Kart tournament as we raise funds for our upcoming trip to Vietnam! We’re heading to Ho Chi Minh City to collaborate with local Vietnamese artists and producers, creating original music together and exchanging culture across borders. Come hang out, eat good food, catch a vibe, and help us get this project off the ground!

Pay-What-You-Can 💚

We want this event to be accessible to everyone. It’s pay-what-you-can, but every donation directly helps bring this cross-cultural music camp to life. We’ve set up tiered options with perks to thank you for your support!

  • $5 – thanks and lifelong appreciation

  • $10 – everything above + 1 raffle ticket

  • $20 – everything above + 1 bánh mì

  • $25 – everything above + Mario Kart Tournament entry (prize) + 5 raffle tickets

What Are We Fundraising For?

We are fundraising for a cross-cultural music camp and trip to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Over four weeks, our team will bring local Vietnamese artists, producers, and engineers into a shared studio space to exchange cultures, meals and production techniques as we co-create a collaborative album from scratch.

To bring everyone along for the ride, the whole camp and trip will be livestreamed and heavily documented, so you can tune in in December!

GOAL: We’re aiming to raise $2,000 at this event! 100% of the proceeds directly support our artist team on the ground ♡

About Us

Originally sparked by Chuong after returning from a Canada Council for the Arts-funded research trip in 2025, this project has been two years in the making. Now, we are just a couple of months away from embarking on this journey of a lifetime. Joining Chuong on the ground in Ho Chi Minh City is manager Mando and producer KILLJEI!, alongside close friends and collaborators Kamino, Lake, MKS, MOC, and Vaselina.

The Space

Located in Rosemont, 5720 Rue St-André is home to Brique par Brique, a community-led non-profit dedicated to creating inclusive, accessible, and affordable spaces for racialized and marginalized communities in Montreal. Beyond housing and social advocacy, their newly renovated St-André centre functions as a vibrant neighborhood hub built for collective creation, gathering, and grassroots solidarity. Featuring a warm, multi-functional 1,800 sq. ft. layout, full kitchen, and high-performance sound system, it’s the perfect community-first space for us to gather.
