Get career-ready with AI through ASEAN Ahead: AI Career & Skills Readiness, a flagship in-person programme designed to equip young people with practical AI skills, career insights and professional connections for today’s evolving employment landscape.
Through hands-on demonstrations and guided activities, participants will learn how to use AI to identify suitable career pathways, strengthen their LinkedIn profiles, improve their CVs and job applications, discover relevant opportunities, and prepare more confidently for interviews.
Participants will also gain insights from LinkedIn on Singapore’s emerging career opportunities and in-demand skills, and learn about continuing education and training pathways from Singapore Polytechnic PACE Academy. The programme concludes with the 10 Connections Challenge, supported networking and opportunities to connect with fellow participants and career-support partners.
By the end of the programme, participants will have:
Identified two to three potential roles or industries aligned with their interests and strengths
Improved key sections of their LinkedIn profile
Strengthened at least one section of their CV using AI-supported prompts
Learned a repeatable approach to researching jobs and preparing for interviews
Discovered relevant career, employment and continuing education resources
Started expanding their professional network through the 10 Connections Challenge
Completed the required activities to qualify for the ASEAN Ahead Certificate
Successful participants will receive an ASEAN Ahead Certificate, which can be added to their LinkedIn profile and CV to demonstrate their career-readiness and practical AI skills.
This programme is suitable for youth aged 16–35, including students, TVET learners, graduates, jobseekers and young people who are currently not in employment, education or training. No prior AI knowledge is required.
