Many designers and builders in tech have a vision they want to pursue: a product, a service, a brand of their own. However, when paying the bills depends on a single paycheck, that idea often gets put on hold.
Money shapes our career decisions more than we usually admit. It’s also one of the things we rarely talk about openly.
In this workshop, we’ll have an honest conversation about money. There won't be any frameworks or tips provided. But you will hear real stories from other designers and builders about their financial goals, how they achieve financial security, and their journeys toward financial freedom.

Individuals working towards financial freedom so they can prioritize their vision over financial constraints
Designers and builders aspiring to create something of their own, even if you aren’t ready to let go of a stable paycheck
People who are freelancing, consulting, running an agency, building a product, or growing a brand
We’ll explore:
What financial freedom looks like for you, and how it would change your life
What would make you feel safe enough to take your next step
Your current situation and the steps you are taking to progress
Insights from others in different settings (employed, offering services, selling products, investing) and what you can learn from them

The session will be recorded, and insights gathered will be published as a research article on the Designed Minds Substack. Quotes will remain anonymous.
