Intro to Harness Engineering - Workshop
Harness engineering is the work of designing the systems around an AI model so it can do useful work for longer and with less human guidance.
In this hands-on workshop, we'll start with an existing coding agent and improve the way it manages context, tracks progress, checks its work, and delegates tasks. We'll run the agent on real engineering problems, inspect where it fails, change the harness, and test it again.
The goal is to understand how small changes to the system around a model can unlock more of the capability the model already has. The workshop gives participants a practical look at the technical depth involved in harnessing agents for domain-specific tasks.
