What?
Join us for a Surf & Bitcoin meetup at Batu Bolong Beach, one of Canggu’s most iconic surf spots.
We’ll start with a short surf recap / mini lesson with the team from Suka Surf Bali, founded by local surfer Wayan “Shaggy”, before grabbing our boards and heading straight into the water. (Suka Surf Bali)
Then it’s time to surf, practice and take part in a few fun challenges:

Winners can earn Bitcoin rewards (sats) to spend at Awan Connection Café & Co-working Space for a drink or meal.
No Bitcoin knowledge is required. The idea is simple: surf, have fun, meet people and experience Bitcoin in a real-world setting.

Batu Bolong is particularly popular for its relatively mellow, long waves and is widely used for beginner surf sessions. (Explore Canggu)

⏱️ Duration: approximately 2 hours
Please arrive on time so we can organize the equipment and get everyone into the water together.
Equipment & Registration
Please budget approximately Rp 100,000 for surfboard rental and equipment.
Advance registration is mandatory.
A Rp 100,000 security bond is required when registering.
This allows us to organize all rentals in advance, so when you arrive we can check everyone in and get straight into the event.
At check-in, your Rp 100,000 can either:
be used toward your surfboard/equipment rental, or
be refunded to you in cash IDR or Bitcoin (sats).
Good to know
🏊 You must know how to swim to participate.
No previous surfing experience is required. Beginners are welcome.
Please bring swimwear, sunscreen, water and a towel.
