โBuild the First Wave of AINative Games
๐ During Michigan Tech Week 2026
๐
May 22-23rd 2026
โWhat happens when games are designed, prototyped, coded, and validated entirely with GenAI?
โWelcome to the AINative GDC 2026 Hackathon โ a 2-day sprint where creators, developers, designers, and founders come together to build fully AI-native games from concept to traction.
โThis isnโt just about using AI in a game.
Itโs about building a game with AI as the creative engine, development partner, and infrastructure layer.
โA 2-day sprint where creators, developers, designers, and founders come together to build fully AI-native products from concept to traction.
โThis isnโt just about adding AI to an app.
Itโs about building a product with AI as the creative engine, development partner, and infrastructure layer.
โWhether youโre building a SaaS tool, AI agent, workflow automation, marketplace, creator platform, or something entirely new โ this is where AI-native products are born.
โ๐ง What Are โAINative Productsโ?
โAINative products use GenAI across:
โ๐จ Product design & UX generation
๐งฉ Core logic & system behavior
๐ Technical architecture & orchestration

โLean Startup Machine validation framework
โWe build with discipline โ not just speed.
โ๐ Day 1 โ Problem & Validation
โBefore writing serious code, you will:
โIdentify a real problem
โDefine a real customer
โValidate demand before building
โTest assumptions quickly
โNon-technical founders are highly encouraged to participate.
You donโt need to code to validate demand.
โBy the end of Day 1, every team must have:
โA clearly defined customer
โA validated problem hypothesis
โEvidence of traction (interviews, signups, feedback, early commitments, etc.)
โ๐ Day 2 โ Build the MVP
โOnce validated, teams will:
โBuild a working MVP
