The Larger Half: AI at Work for People Who Don't Code
Welcome to Austin's newest AI meetup, focusing on AI at work. More specifically, for working professionals who use AI on the job BUT don't write code. That's most of the workforce. And that's the larger half.
Join us for the first-ever session of The Larger Half!
Who is this meetup for?
This meetup is for people who spend their time inside email, spreadsheets, decks, meetings, and docs.
Whether you work in Sales, Marketing, Ops, HR, Finance, Project Management, Product (a.k.a. "non-technical" work), this meetup is for you.
It doesn't matter if you have been using AI at work for a while now or are just getting started, we are here to get you to that next level!
What will our session cover?
Each session is built around four things:
a concept worth understanding
a tool worth knowing
a demo or two of real work getting done
and the conversation that follows
Any requirements to attend?
None. No code, no jargon, no experience needed. Come with your questions, your wins, and the stuff that isn't working.
Why does The Larger Half meetup exist?
The Larger Half is about creating a place where we can all learn and grow together as AI changes how we work, and that starts with you in the room.
Doors open at 6 PM. Closing remarks at 8 PM.
Message the host with any questions.
Hope to see you there!
What room is this in?
STATION Austin shares the building with the Omni Hotel. Walk inside the building. In the Lobby, look for the big glass room in the SW corner of the building, called the Voltron Room.
Where do I park?
Street parking is free after 6 PM. Additionally, if you want to park on-site, the Omni Hotel has an underground parking lot. Make sure to ask the host for a parking voucher. When scanned as you exit, it will reduce your parking to $8.
A special thank you to Station Austin for sponsoring The Larger Half's community meetup. STATION Austin is the center of gravity for entrepreneurs in Texas. Day and night, in-person and online, we gather the best founders, programmers, and designers outside of Silicon Valley and introduce them to investors, employees, and customers who help their ideas launch. STATION Austin is powered by Capital Factory, whose investments and leadership have helped power the Texas startup ecosystem for more than a decade.
