⏳ Walking time: approximately 4 hours + 1h/1h30 for breaks and lunch

🥪 Lunchtime options: We’re planning a cozy little picnic right in the middle of the trail, so don’t forget to bring your blanket, lunch and your favorite drink. If the weather isn't cooperating, we’ll stop at a hut along the way and enjoy a warm meal there (usually around 5–20€) 🍵
🍫 Advice : Pack extra snacks for small breaks in between to keep yourself fuelled and bring weather appropriate clothing and shoes. The temperatures might be chillier in the forest/mountain than in the city and parts of the trail might still be covered in mud. Think of bringing a first aid kit that reflects your most common health issues. Please be aware of your needs during the hike and take care of yourself 💕
🪽 Hiking angels: We are introducing a hiking awareness team! If you already know the trail, are an experienced hiker or just want to help out, you can become a hiking angel for this hike. You would help making sure that everyone is okay. You can sign up for this when filling up the form for the event. Thank you for helping out 🩶

What is a Flinta space ?
A FLINTA space is a community or environment for people who identify as Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, and Agender. We believe in the power of building a community outside of the patriarchy and we kindly ask for your participation in co-creating a welcoming and warm environment.
Is this a girls club then ?
Not at all ! Gender and identity exists on a spectrum and FLINTA includes people of a variety of gender expressions who can be female presenting, male presenting (such as trans men, or some a-gender and non-binary people) or anything in and out of the gender binary.
What if i don't identify as Flinta ?
Alongside our FLINTA only events, we also host “Flinta & Friends” events which are open to people of all genders and identities. If you do not see “Flinta & Friends” on the description/post you can assume this is a Flinta only event.
What makes this a safer space ?
As a community we are defined by you, when you choose to meet strangers, walk together and spend time with one another, remember to show up with kindness for others and for yourself.
Our entire team is dedicated to creating a supportive and loving environment. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination or prejudice, and we are available at all times during our events to offer support or simply to explain something you may have missed.
Is the event free ?
Yes! you can leave an optional donation to support us, but it not required to participate. We are committed to creating an inclusive space no matter your financial situation.
What if I am late ?
We have an arrival window to allow people to slowly regroup within a 30 min timeframe. Your participation is only guaranteed if you can start the hike with the group.
Can I come on my own ?
Absolutely! Our hikes are great places to meet new people and most of our participants join on their own.
Is there an age limit ?
There is no age limit for the stadtwanderweg, for the bigger hikes you must be over 18. We encourage all generations to come together to enjoy a day out in nature. If you require special assistance, or a slower pace please mention this in the sign up form or contact us.
Can I bring my pets !
Yes! We love to see your furry friends on the hikes. When bringing a pet please be mindful of the people around you.
