​The talk

​Joseph Douglas, founder and CEO of 3DScribe, on why CAD geometry is mute to AI, and what happens when it isn't. Joe has spent 13 years in 3D graphics and design for manufacture across the US and Asia, from injection molding tooling in Foshan to building the platform that turns CAD assemblies into knowledge AI can reason over. He will show live systems, not slides about the future: assemblies where every part carries its purpose, and AI agents that answer questions about machines the way a senior service engineer would.

​We're playing a game called Slop or Not. We put AI-generated engineering material on the screen (images, 3D models, confident technical statements) and the room votes: is this real engineering or is it slop? Some of them will fool you. That's the fun part.
