About Event

The project "Oltre Campo. Towards a Spatial Possibility" explores the relationship between matter, space and possibility, mainly through photography and installation. The works explore the capacity of matter and of the human to open up, break off and transform, creating fractures, openings and voids. These become thresholds through which the visible enters into a relationship with what lies beyond it, in a dialogue inspired by Lucio Fontana's Spatialist gesture.

Nature becomes a space of revelation and a medium. In its cuts and openings, a force emerges that clashes with matter and, at the same time, with the human dimension and its inner conflict.

The project thus takes shape as an investigation into the tension between strength and vulnerability, between resistance and transformation, where the limit of matter confronts the possibility of moving beyond it.

Sofia Zampicinini, known as Sofia Mari, is an artist, musician and composer. She graduated in Harp from the Conservatorio di Novara. Her training weaves together music, art and research into the natural world, through studies in Environmental Science and Policy at the University of Milan and a master's degree in International Relations for the Environment at Roma Tre University.

Her research focuses on the human condition and on exploring one's own nature and possibilities. It questions the relationships that bind the individual to the world and to the invisible order that runs through all things. Through a dialogue between presence and beyond-presence, matter, light, void and sound, her work reflects on the search for meaning and on the possibilities of what may still emerge along the human path.

We make visibile what is still invisible
