Join us for MUN5 - UN Security Council: Conflict & Food Crisis in Sudan
The ongoing crisis in Sudan presents one of the most urgent and complex challenges facing the international community today. Widespread conflict, political instability, and a rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation have left millions without access to food, clean water, and security.
In this Security Council simulation, delegates will tackle the escalating crisis head-on, negotiating ceasefires, humanitarian corridors, and international intervention. Beyond debate, this committee will focus on the implementation of direct action through vocabulary-specific resolutions and high-stakes collaboration between delegates, reflecting the Security Council’s unique responsibility to act decisively in times of crisis.
This session will require delegates to balance geopolitical interests with the moral imperative of saving lives. You'll navigate the challenges of sovereignty, peacekeeping mandates, and international aid.
Whether you're a veteran of international affairs or stepping into your first MUN committee, this is a powerful opportunity to engage in real-world issues shaping the future of global peace and security.
