About Event

Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum and Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, present Jitish Kallat: Conjectures on a Paper Sky, a major solo exhibition curated by Dr Alexandra Munroe , Senior Curator at Large, Global Arts, at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation, and curatorial advisor Tasneem Zakaria Mehta, Managing Trustee & Director, Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum. The exhibition is supported by Saat Saath Arts Foundation and Nature Morte.

Bringing together paintings, drawings, sculptures and installations, the exhibition moves between the earthly and the cosmic, the historical and the speculative, tracing Kallat’s enduring inquiries into orientation, measurement and shifting perspective.

The exhibition also features an expanded sculptural installation, Moon Treaty (2025), and brings together all 365 original drawings from Integer Study (drawing from life) (2021) for the first time.
