Welcome, Event Organizer 👋
You're in the right place if you want to submit your Cardano event. Simply review the guidelines and you're ready to go.
We know how much effort goes into organizing - this calendar is here to support your work and amplify your reach.
1. Introduction & Purpose
This calendar is designed to:
Serve as a hub for Cardano events globally.
Mirror a broad range of events, from high-level conferences to local community meetups.
Amplify the reach of these events to the wider community.
This calendar welcomes events that foster collaboration, education, and sustainable ecosystem growth, reflecting parts of the core ethos of Cardano.
These guidelines serve to ensure the calendar remains an organized, valuable, and safe resource for all participants.
2. What Belongs on the Calendar? (Event Scope)
This calendar showcases a wide array of activities that are directly related to the Cardano ecosystem. Examples include:
Community & Social Events: Local meetups and community-organized events where the primary purpose is networking and/or education.
Learning & Development Events: Educational workshops, developer study groups, informational panels, and Hackathons.
Project & dApp Ecosystem Events (AMAs Only): 'Ask Me Anything' (AMA) sessions are welcome to foster dialogue. The format must be an interactive Q&A.
Virtual Discussions & Broadcasts: This includes educational community-hosted X Spaces and educational livestreams, provided they adhere to all content guidelines.
Governance & Infrastructure Events: This category includes meetings for MBOs (Membership-Based Organizations) like Intersect, SPO Guilds, and events related to Project Catalyst.
A Note on Neutrality: To uphold the integrity of the governance process, this category is for educational and deliberative events. Events primarily designed to campaign for a specific proposal or to lobby for a singular "yes/no" vote on a governance action are not permitted. The focus must be on neutral discussion, debate, and understanding, ideally by giving multiple participants and perspectives a voice.
High-Level & Major Events: This category is for major industry conferences that provide substantial, direct value to the Cardano community. The conference must offer at least one of the following:
A dedicated, multi-session Cardano track on its agenda.
A main stage keynote address delivered on a Cardano-specific topic.
An interactive Cardano presence, such as a developer workshop, a themed hackathon, or a Cardano-led panel discussion on a core ecosystem topic.
3. Core Principles & Content Standards
All submissions must adhere to the following principles.
Event Cost Transparency:
Paid Events: Please clearly state as such.
Free Events Inside a Paid Venue: If your event is free to attend (e.g., a workshop or meetup) but is located inside a larger conference or event that requires a paid ticket for entry, this must be clearly stated in your event description.
Example wording: "Please note: While this workshop is free, a valid ticket to the 'Example Conference' is required to access the venue."
No Direct Fundraising or Sales:
Events created for the primary purpose of selling a token, a product, or to pressure immediate investment are strictly forbidden.
Safety and Respect:
Scams, phishing attempts, fraudulent events, and any content promoting hate speech or harassment are strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban.
Relevance:
The event's topic must be directly about the Cardano ecosystem. This specifically excludes:
General "blockchain" conferences that do not meet the criteria in Section 2.
Events on general subjects (e.g., "social media marketing") even if hosted by a known Cardano community member.
Promotional webinars from third-party services not built on or directly integrated with the Cardano protocol (Examples: a general "how to secure your crypto" webinar from a hardware wallet company, or a "crypto tax reporting" session from an accounting firm).
4. Rules for Event Submission
A. Required Information: All submissions must include a clear title, detailed description, accurate date/time/timezone, and organizer information.
B. Tagging System: You must use tags to help users find your event.
