1-Day Coulter Burn – Cascadia PBA Fall 2025 (Burn Window 10/16-19)

​🔥 Cascadia Prescribed Burn Association – Fall Burn Opportunity

​Location: Chelan County
Planned Dates: Thursday, October 16 – Sunday, October 19 (pending weather and burn ban status)

​⚠️ Note: Chelan County currently has a burn ban in effect until October 15th. The burn will occur during the first suitable weather window after that date.

​📅 How to Participate

• ​Register for the event to receive notifications and planning updates.

• ​After registering, you’ll receive a short survey about which days (Oct 16–19) you’re available.

• ​The final burn day will be chosen based on weather conditions and participant availability.

• ​Acres: 10

• ​Arrival Time: 9:00 AM

​🧰 What to Bring

• ​Natural fiber long-sleeve shirt and pants or FR-rated clothing (no synthetics)

• ​Leather boots with heavy soles

• ​Leather gloves

• ​Eye protection

• ​Two water bottles

• ​N95 mask

​The PBA has extra clothing and gear available if needed.

​All experience levels and ages are welcome!
There will be hands-on learning opportunities and a range of roles—from observation to active participation in ignition and operations.
