The Data Request you Cannot Refuse (CBAM Breakfast Roundtable)
From 2027, European importers start paying real money for the carbon embedded in what they buy. The only way to pay less is verified data from their suppliers. So the requests are going out. And most of the companies receiving them cannot answer yet.
Both sides of that exchange are usually in separate rooms. We are putting them at one table.
If you are sending these requests, come and hear why they are hard to answer. If you are receiving them, come and hear what is actually being asked, and why it is not going away. Ten to fifteen people, North American and European, buy side and sell side.
No agenda, no presentations, no slides. A good breakfast and an honest conversation between people dealing with the same problem from opposite ends. Chatham House rules apply, so you can say what you actually think and none of it leaves the room.
The venue is a short walk from the Climate Week NYC program, so you can go straight into your day. We will share the exact address with confirmed guests closer to the date.
Places are limited by the size of the table.
