Reading Rendezvous, Vol II: Live Annotations

​Ever feel like you’re just bouncing between home and work all winter and craving a happy middle? That’s the magic of a third place, and we’re kicking off a brand new series to create exactly that: The Reading Rendezvous.

​Join us for a cozy hour of quiet reading, guided by the Pomodoro method and fueled by good coffee or matcha.

​During Reading Rendezvous, we’ll introduce Live Annotation, a collective way to react to the text in real time. Use sticky notes to mark thoughts, questions, favourite lines, or “wait… what?” moments as you read, turning a solo activity into a shared experience even while everyone reads at their own pace.

​At the end of the session, we’ll share a digital version of the Live Annotations board, capturing everyone’s notes, highlights, and reactions. It becomes a one-of-a-kind collective artwork created by the room, and a keepsake you can revisit after the event.
