Workshop 3 - Bridging Mindsets: Founders, Investors, and Cultural Codes
How do culture, regional nuances, and mindset shape founder-investor dynamics across Africa?
This is the third workshop in the Africa Investment Dialogue series, a cross-regional discussion series bringing together investors and ecosystem stakeholders to explore how capital moves across African markets, what drives investment decisions, and where existing assumptions may be limiting opportunities.
Building on Workshop 2, which examined capital concentration and the technical behavior of fund structures, risk pricing, and currency, Workshop 3 shifts focus from macroeconomic frameworks to the human and cultural codes underlying the ecosystem.
The discussion will examine the unseen human frictions in cross-border capital allocation unpacking how regional storytelling, educational backgrounds, and implicit investor biases dictate which deals get made and how effectively startups scale from one region to another.
Confirmed Panelists:
Lola Masha, Partner at Antler
Nneka Eze, Managing Partner at VestedWorld
