About Event

Your best emails contain useful clues about how you write, but uploading a folder and asking AI to "write like me" rarely produces consistent results. The AI may copy a familiar phrase or mirror the subject of an example without understanding the editorial choices that make the message sound like you.

In this live one-hour Practical AI at Work session, Bill Raymond shows you how to turn emails you wrote into clear editorial guidance that an AI system can apply repeatedly. You will use focused prompts to identify patterns, convert those patterns into reusable instructions, add your required signature line, and refine the skill by testing it against realistic email tasks.

What You Will Learn

  • Choose representative emails that reflect the writing you want AI to help you produce

  • Prepare those samples without exposing confidential, personal, or sensitive information

  • Prompt AI to identify editorial behaviors such as tone, structure, wording, and rhythm

  • Turn the useful patterns into concise guidance for a reusable writing skill

  • Add your signature line and other fixed requirements

  • Test the skill, review where a draft misses the mark, and update the guidance

What You Will Leave With

You will leave with a starter editorial writing skill, reusable extraction prompts, and a practical checklist for testing and improving future drafts.

Who This Is For

This session is for professionals who regularly write workplace email and want AI-assisted drafts to sound more consistent with their own voice while keeping human judgment and final approval in the process. Beginners are welcome.

What You Need

This session requires a paid ChatGPT account with the ChatGPT desktop app, or a paid Claude account with Claude Desktop, on your computer. Download ChatGPT for desktop or Claude Desktop before the session.

Privacy And Human Review

Use only writing samples that you own or have permission to use, and remove sensitive details before sharing them with an AI system. AI can prepare a draft, but you remain responsible for the recipient, facts, tone, privacy, signature, and final decision to send it.

One hour. One useful result.
