About Event

Centering and coming back to yourself

Centering is a practice of personal expansion, of reclaiming your full space, of unfurling your heart toward what matters and letting that fill your body. And it's simple enough that once you know it, you can do it in 20 seconds, anywhere.

We become what we practice. A lot of us have been practicing bracing. What if we practiced coming back instead?

The world is hard right now. You feel it in your body even when you're not watching the news.

And you might not know how to help. But you believe in what you're doing. You believe the work you're here to do matters, even when it feels small against everything that's breaking.

That belief is everything. But you can't share it from a place of depletion.

This is a practice that helps me return to my centre. It helps me remember who I am, what I'm committed to, and why showing up in alignment with my values matters.

This is your invitation to do the same. To come back to yourself, to the thing you care deeply about, so you can share it with others from a place of connection, love, and well-being.

Not because the world needs you to be perfect. Because the world needs you to be here.

What to expect

Each 60-minute session includes gentle practices to help you arrive and settle, time for exploring that month's focus, and space for integration. Participation is always optional and you're invited to engage in whatever way feels right for you.

Each session is complete on its own, so you can join whenever feels right for you. No need to attend every month, return when it calls to you.

We'll meet on Zoom. You're welcome to have your camera on or off.


Your facilitator

Hi, I'm Tami, Somatic coach from The Knowing Well. I create safe, warm containers for somatic exploration where you can reconnect with your body's wisdom at your own pace. Through my training in trauma-informed Mind-Body, Somatic Stress Release, breath work and movement, and nervous system neurobiology, I support people in building capacity to trust what their bodies already know.

Important notes

Arriving: The Zoom wait room will open 15 minutes before our start time. As I'll be both facilitating and managing the tech myself, please plan to arrive on time, as I won't be able to admit latecomers once we've begun our practice together. ​

Confidentiality: Due to the nature of the event and to provide a safe space for sharing, events are rarely recorded. If attendees collectively agreed to be recorded, a recording of the event will only be available for those who attended the event live.

Choice: You have complete choice throughout the practice. Take what serves you, modify anything that doesn't feel right, and trust your own timing.

Scope: This practice is not therapy and doesn't substitute for mental health care. We're exploring embodiment and body wisdom, not treating or diagnosing anything.

Refunds: No refunds are provided for cancellations or no-shows.
