Hacktoberfest with Cloudinary: A Media Meetup and Mini-Hackathon

​Come join a mini meetup and Hacktoberfest hackathon that combines hands-on building, technical mentorship, and developer networking. During this interactive "make and showcase" session, participants collaborate in small groups or work individually to build media-rich applications - leveraging Cloudinary for AI image/video transformations, optimized delivery, and automated visual workflows. Win a prize for the best hack, and walk away with some nice Hacktoberfest swag as well.

​Event Structure & Agenda

• ​Kickoff & Prompt Briefing: Welcome, introduction to the theme/challenge (Build for your community!), and get set up to hack.

• ​Brainstorming & Pitch Circle: Attendees share quick project ideas, ask questions, and form teams based on complementary skills or project goals.

• ​Hacking & Mentorship Session: Participants spend dedicated time building their prototypes. Mentors and Cloudinary experts circulate to offer guidance on API integration, troubleshooting, and best practices.

• ​Demos & Showcase: Each team delivers a 2-3 minute live demo highlighting their project, how they handled media optimization or transformations, and what they built.

• ​Wrap-Up & Networking: Celebrate top projects, award prizes or swag, and open the floor for informal networking and discussion.
