Laravel Greece - Thessaloniki February 2026
At this first event of 2026 in Thessaloniki—and the first in a series of meetups launching in the city—we will talk about “Prompting Security” and “SaaS Prototyping with Filament.”
Two engaging talks as part of an initiative that is important to support so it can continue!
SaaS Prototyping with Filament
Come along for the ride in an audience-driven, demo-focused session where we will build a simple SaaS prototype in 20-ish minutes using Filament, proving that MVPs don’t have to be years-long adventures.
Greg Kosmidis has 15 years of development experience, with the last 9 of those focused on the web, primarily with Laravel. He’s worked in companies of all sizes and is nowadays leading a tiny team offering staff augmentation and bespoke development services to clients worldwide.
Avoiding prompts to be abused!
In this talk, we will look at some common vulnerabilities that appear when AI features are added to Laravel applications. We will focus on how a simple prompt can be abused to expose sensitive data through prompt injection. We will explain how this kind of attack leads to information disclosure, even when authentication is not bypassed. The talk will also cover practical ways to protect sensitive data and avoid these risks.
The main topics covered will be:
Prompt Injection
Information Disclosure
Prompt hardening strategies
System prompts
