Tech Sundowner: Startup Games Night
Meet some of London’s sharpest builders in a relaxed, personal setting.
Games, honest stories, and meaningful connections at Imperial’s cosy Alumni Centre. Oh, and of course: free bites and drinks!
Background: Years of designing events for social depth taught me that the best networking follows the same principles as socialising: openness, authenticity, and a genuine want to build relationships.
What’s happening: Non-transactional networking is easier said than done. That’s why with TFS, we built activity-driven formats to break the ice, find overlapping interests, and foster these connections. We’re bringing this to the startup world with silly bad-idea pitch challenges, fun themed games, and value-driven casual chats with seasoned founders.
The setup: With a lounge area and a meeting room, we’ll mix open networking with game stations, as well as a chance to schedule instant one-on-ones with people you find interesting. Just slip into the meeting room while the rest of us keep things casual in the lounge.
Who should attend: Engineers, builders, founders, or anyone with a genuine interest or involvement in mission-driven tech startups. Whether you’re an ambitious dev still tinkering around or you’re a veteran looking to share your wisdom, we’ll be glad to have you.
Why come: Swap hard-won lessons, openly address & find solutions to roadblocks, and make new friends who you can relate to. No matter your current priority—finding a co-founder, hiring, raising, or just learning—come with a give-first mentality, and you’ll leave having made real connections with people who will find every opportunity to help you succeed.
Date & time: 9 July 2025, 18:30–21:30. Curating a list of just 15-20 attendees for a memorable, intimate experience: apply before spots run out!
