Mending & Embroidery
Join us for this month's session of Mending & Embroidery. This is the perfect place to finally learn how to repair your favorite shirt, start your mending journey, or troubleshoot a more complicated project with our guidance. No sewing experience required to attend!
A few of the techniques we’ll cover every month:
Simple mending & embroidery techniques like running stitch, back stitch, and chain stitch.
Hand sewing basics for those without any prior experience.
Each month, we'll introduce a new themed project or concept that can inspire your mends or teach you something new. This month's class is centered around mending in the colors of the Palestinian flag.
All class proceeds donated to families in Palestine.
Folks are encouraged to bring an item or two in need of repair. Rips and holes welcome (duh), but please make sure that any personal items you bring are laundered prior to class.
MASK REMINDER
The Collaboratory is a *Masks Required* space. 😷 We also run two air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have them available at the door.
If you're not feeling well or have reason to believe you've been exposed to COVID, please consider staying home. COVID is real y'all, let's keep each other safe. 😷
