Waikalua Loko I'a La'Ohana Workday

​Join us at Waikalua Loko Iʻa for a lively LaʻOhana Workday hosted by the Eco Rotary Club of Kakaʻako. We’ll spend the morning at this beautiful fishpond in Kāneʻohe, helping care for a place with deep cultural and environmental importance. Expect fresh air, muddy hands, good conversation, and the kind of feel-good energy that comes from doing something useful together.

​Workdays at the loko iʻa can include a mix of hands-on mālama ʻāina, from light restoration and cleanup to other tasks that support the health of the fishpond and surrounding area. It is a great chance to step outside your usual routine, learn more about this special place, and be part of the effort to mālama one of Hawaiʻi’s treasured coastal spaces.
