Waikalua Loko I'a La'Ohana Workday
Join us at Waikalua Loko Iʻa for a lively LaʻOhana Workday hosted by the Eco Rotary Club of Kakaʻako. We’ll spend the morning at this beautiful fishpond in Kāneʻohe, helping care for a place with deep cultural and environmental importance. Expect fresh air, muddy hands, good conversation, and the kind of feel-good energy that comes from doing something useful together.
Workdays at the loko iʻa can include a mix of hands-on mālama ʻāina, from light restoration and cleanup to other tasks that support the health of the fishpond and surrounding area. It is a great chance to step outside your usual routine, learn more about this special place, and be part of the effort to mālama one of Hawaiʻi’s treasured coastal spaces.
Come ready to get a little dirty, share some laughs, and take in the beauty of Waikalua Loko Iʻa. We’ll gather at the fishpond on Kulauli Street in Kāneʻohe and make the most of the morning together. We would love to have you there.
