Future Food Visions at the Effective Animal Advocacy Meetup

​Welcome to our Effective Animal Advocacy Meetup! Whether you're a newcomer or you've joined us before, let's get to know each other (better) and explore the most thought-provoking questions facing the animal advocacy world today. 🌱 👩‍🌾 🐷

​This time, we'll explore different visions for the future of food. With the help of a fact sheet and guiding questions, you'll dig into the strengths and weaknesses of a food philosophy in a group of your choice: (1) agroecology, (2) precision agriculture, (3) regenerative agriculture, (4) traditional plant-based, or (5) alternative proteins.  We'll then share insights across groups, discussing the assumptions and trade-offs of these visions, so we can build more effective strategies for shaping the future of food. 

​This topic is inspired by the project Meat: The Four Futures. If you're curious which future food vision likely resonates most with you, you can take their quiz or listen to their podcast.
