Brussels Creativity Lab presents

CURIOSITY TALKS

We wish to invite you to the first edition of Curiosity Talks, taking place on 29 September at Commons Hub Brussels, 18:00-20:00.

Curiosity Talks is a space for reconnecting through the art of dialogue.

In a world shaped by constant noise and digital distance, Curiosity Talks offers a sanctuary for the slower, more human side of life. Rather than a traditional talk or presentation, it is an intimate conversation where diverse voices come together to explore what it means to be truly present.

The evening is about stepping away from the pressure of productivity to exchange ideas, share personal stories, and explore different perspectives. Our hope is to create conversations that touch, move and inspire, leaving everyone with fresh insights and a deeper sense of connection.

For this first edition, the theme is: Wellbeing and Music

How can we consciously protect space for the slower, more human elements of life? How do you find or maintain a sense of internal rhythm and presence when your day-to-day work demands intense mental structure? We will explore such questions and more.

The format is simple and relaxed:

  • A one-hour facilitated conversation, followed by informal networking.

  • A dialogue between two speakers, with participation from the audience.

  • Facilitated by Richard Kelly and Christopher Malapitan.

  • No presentations or slides, just honest conversation, curiosity and connection.

About our speakers:

  • Bettina Kusel is a multi-talented professional and academic with a PhD in monetary economics, extensive experience in international policy and higher education, and a background as an award-winning classical and electric violinist. She blends her diverse expertise in economics, creativity, and project management to engage in consulting, education, and cultural initiatives.

  • Bart Loos is an executive coach who helps SME founders and CEOs eliminate the operational bottlenecks that keep them trapped in day-to-day firefighting. By redesigning how decisions and leadership alignment work within the company, he helps leaders reclaim a significant portion of their capacity for high-level strategy.

Venue: Commons Hub, Rue de la Madeleine 51 (Room: Satoshi)

Agenda

  • 18:00 Arrival & Welcome

We very much hope you'll be able to join us.

Best regards,

Richard and Christopher
